Original 1959 Polish 22 3/4 inch x 33 1/2 inch Poster for the 1958 Anton Marinovich Bulgarian Comedy POOR MAN'S JOY (SIROMASHKA RODOST), based on stories by Elin Pelin and starring Ivan Dimov, Georgi Stamatov, Vyara Kovacheva, Petko Karlukovsky and Emilia Radeva.

Poster art by Maciej Hibner. Hibner was born in Warsaw in 1931. He was a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw with a diploma in 1955 from the studio of Józef Mroszczak. He has worked in applied art, poster, book and magazine design, industrial design, display design and has had exhibitions in London, Paris, Vienna, Rome and Delhi (1954) and won many awards.

The poster is in very good condition. The poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.
