Original U.S. 14 inch x 36 inch Insert Poster for the 1954 Roy Del Ruth Horror Movie PHANTOM OF THE RUE MORGUE, based on the story "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" by Edgar Allan Poe and starring Karl Malden, Claude Dauphin, Patricia Medina, Steve Forrest, Allyn Ann McLerie, Anthony Caruso and Erin O'Brien-Moore.
This big-budget remake of 1932's Murders in the Rue Morgue was originally shown in 3-D and tells the grim tale of how a mad zookeeper and his murderous, thieving monkey terrorized Parisians in the early 1900s.
The poster is in very good folded condition with a one inch repaired tear at the right edge and minor nicks along the bottom edge.
