Percy Marmont starred in 2 of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1930s thrillers THE SECRET AGENT and YOUNG AND INNOCENT.
Portrait by Hollywood photographer Albert Witzel with his stamp on the reverse and signed in the negative lower right.
Until 1924 Albert Witzel was the premier portraitist in Los Angeles, who frequently worked for hire as a still photographer for movie productions. He seldom worked in formats larger than 8x10.
The portrait, on doubleweight paper, is in fine condition.
