Seller's Description

This is a very old unused colour postcard of "The Queen" Steamer in Luss Straits, Lochlomond. I don't know the exact age of this card, but it must be from the late 1800s/early 1900s, as the card asks for a halfpenny stamp, which was the postage rate at that time. It is by C R Gilchrist & Sons, Photo Publishers, Alexandria, and the card is in very good condition – no creases (other than a very minor scuff near the top-left) or obvious marks, with only very slight scuffing to some corners.
