Original World War 2 insulation industry trade magazine vintage ad for OWENS-CORNING FIBERGLAS CORPORATION of Toledo, OH. The Next Three Miles are on Mr and Mrs Ivar L. Stone of West Roxbury, MA. The Stones heat their house with fuel oil. They had their house insulated with Fiberglas. As a result, they burned 500 gallons less oil last year than the year before. The amount they saved will run a destroyer about three miles at 33 knots an hour. Old 1943 WW2 wartime era propaganda magazine advertisement.
