Too many pictures and not enough walls! This is a very nice, original oil painting dating back to the 1980's. It is signed by the eminently talented, award winning artist, S. Touquan in the lower right corner.
The expressionistic application of thick paint in the depiction of the scenic trees creates a semblance of stucco. The compositional mastery of the artist is evident in the way the walk carries your eye across the painting to the richly colored and uniquely textured foliage.
