Comic Images Olivia's collector cards feature adult-oriented pinup portraits created by exquisite airbrush artist Olivia DeBerardinis. You may have already seen works from her portfolio as original artwork, calendars, book and magazine covers, movie posters, playing cards, or greeting cards. Models posing for this series include Julie Strain Betty Page, Pamela Anderson, Bella Schol, Rhonda Ridley-Scott. The reverse sides provides insight into her inspiration and technique for the original artwork which is typically 40" x 30".
In 1984, Olivia began supplying illustrations for Playboy. Her work underwent a shift, becoming more sophisticated, more subtle. You can see a more delicate handling of the female form. Olivia's women have the ideal build of fantastic art of heavy-metal heroines, wonderful aliens, women with tiger stripped skin, chrome torsos and plumed wings. |
