Seller's Description
From the General Phonograph Corporation, circa 1923, though now part of the CBS-Columbia music family. A rich history surrounds this label founded by Otto Heinemann, who issued not only recordings similar to other companies, but also music for audiences in the German, Czech, Polish, Swedish and Yiddish communities neglected by others.
Offered here is a decently clean and clear sounding pair of early 1940's Big Band dance sounds from Dick Jurgens and his Orchestra that developed into a solid, polished ensemble, with a sound that was ideal for ballrooms and hotels.

A nice gloss still shows through very faint play wear of just minor scuffs and scratches. No cracks, chips, or skips.
Side H333 presents the fox trot tempo of "There Goes That Song Again", and side C3675 offers the jumpin' and jivin' rhythm of "Don't Be Blue, Little Pal, Don't Be Blue", both with vocals by Harry Cool.
