Seller's Description
From the General Phonograph Corporation, circa 1923, though now part of the CBS-Columbia music family. A rich history surrounds this label founded by Otto Heinemann, who issued not only recordings similar to other companies, but also music for audiences in the German, Czech, Polish, Swedish and Yiddish communities neglected by others.
From 1944, this OKeh recording has been well preserved. In excellent condition, showing a few fingerprints and a B side label fading, but virtually no scuffs or scratches. Wonderful audio! No cracks, chips, or skips.
Side CO 20971 features, "The Stars Remain", and side CO 29073 plays the melody, "A Fellow And A Girl", both from the 1944 MGM film, "Meet The People".
These vocals are performed by Buddy Clark, with orchestra.
