Seller's Description
From the General Phonograph Corporation, circa 1923, though now part of the CBS-Columbia music family. A rich history surrounds this label founded by Otto Heinemann, who issued not only recordings similar to other companies, but also music for audiences in the German, Czech, Polish, Swedish and Yiddish communities neglected by others.
Offered here is a mostly clean and fine sounding 1940's pair of fox trot rhythms from the Fred Feibel Quartet with Fred Feibel at the Hammond Electric Organ.
Side 27763 offers, "Margie", and side 27764 features, "Runnin' Wild".
In excellent condition, these are fine sounding plays, with minimal background noise. No serious damage. Light and normal wear only.
