Original British 17 inch x 11 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1956 John Gilling Adventure ODONGO, starring Rhonda Fleming, Macdonald Carey, Juma and Eleanor Summerfield.
In Kenya, a white trader of exotic animals is mentoring and caring for an African boy but is annoyed by his new female replacement veterinarian and must deal with a disgruntled former employee.
Advert art by Bill Wiggins (1915 - 1988).
On the reverse is 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement for the 1956 Ralph Thomas Comedy THE IRON PETTICOAT starring Bob Hope, Katharine Hepburn, James Robertson Justice and Robert Helpmann.
Captain Vinka Kovelenko defects from Russia, but not for political reasons. She defects because she feels discriminated against as a woman. Captain Chuck Lockwood gets the order to show her the bright side of capitalism, while she tries to convince him of the superority of communism. Naturaly, they fall in love, but there's still the KGB, which doesn't like the idea of having a defected Russian officer running around in London.
The Advertisement is in very good condition with a vertical centre fold.
