This is a vintage original postcard from early 20th C. and was kept in a thick paper album with corner straps that belonged to my late grandfather. The image shows a painting by ? Bunuer (signed) of OBERWESEL on Rhine, Germany. Publisher Künstlerkarten-Verlag von Karl Rud. Bremer & Co., Köln a. Rh. Unposted, rear is unwriten. Rear has OBERWESEL, eine der interessantesten Rheinstädta von malerischer Lage. Die alte Stadtmauer mit 14 Türmen ist gut erhalten. ten. Die Liebfrauenkirche entstammt dem Jahre 1331. Ober Über der Stadt die Ruinen des Schlosses Schönburg. Nr. 5337. Size 140x89mm. It is in Excellent condition for age, see scans (which clearly show ALL edges). For protection it will be posted in an acid free plastic sleeve in a "Do not bend" card backed envelope.
