Seller's Description
This beautiful porcelain figurine is titled "The Toymaker" by Norman Rockwell. The scene shows a little girl and boy who are enchanted by the labors of an old toymaker. He's showing a work in progress to the little girl and the boy is holding his paint pot. A friendly dog is between his feet. The colors are rich and vibrant and the scene is full of exquisite detail.
"Norman Rockwell" is etched on the side of the top of the base. On the bottom is the Norman Rockwell Collector's Club logo and the title of the piece, plus "inspired by Norman Rockwell's 1920 painting for the Literary Digest" and "Limited to 15,000". There is also a small "Made in Japan" sticker.
This charming piece of Americana measures about 5-3/4" in width and is about 5-3/4" tall. Although it is pre-owned, I see no chips, cracks, flaking or flaws of any kind. This figurine is in beautiful condition, ready to display! No box or COA, but it will be carefully packaged for shipping. Shipping cost includes insurance.
