Seller's Description

Original 9 1/2 inch x 7 1/2 inch Portrait of SYLVIA SYMS in the 1959 J Lee Thompson Thriller NO TREES IN THE STREET.

Text attached to reverse: Just a glimpse of what we’re missing. Popular 25-year-old actress Sylvia Syms has made eight films, one fater the other since signing for Associated British just over three years ago - without the aid of pin-ups. But in her latest film “NO TREES IN THE STREET”, she has to play a torrid love scene wearing only her slip - and this still from the scene is the nearest thing to a pin-up that has ever appeared. In “NO TREES IN THE STREET” Sylvia Syms stars with Herbert Lom, Ronald Howard and Stanley Holloway, and the Godwin/Willis/Lee-Thompson picture will be distributed by Associated British-Pathe.

The portrait is in very good condition with slight surface marks.
