NEW ZEALAND Heritage Stamp Collection 150 Years 1990 Book with MNH Stamps & FDCs

Please Note: Condition of book is as it appares in the pictures. While a picture is worth a thousand words, not all pages of the book are shown e.g. pages without stamps or First Day Covers are not shown. From my viewing of the book there are no blemishes or other marks on any pages or on the stamps and First Day Covers. Most copies of this book that I have seen for sale have indicated that they have, as a minimum, fading to the slipcase and spine of the book but this book appears to be unfaded and appears to be in ‘as new’ condition.

This is a magnificent and really large (12” x  12”), expensive cloth covered and bound stamp book of 52 pages with a matching slipcase, both with the 150 years Heritage Stamp inset in colour.

Issued to commemorate 150 years of nationhood, the collection covers six subject areas: The Land / The People / The Sea / The Ships / The Achievers / The Maori.

Each subject area includes commemorative stamps both as MNH Postal Stamps sets and First Day Covers (the book has 12 sets of stamps in total). The First Day Covers are beautifully cancelled.

The book is a limited edition and includes a NUMBERED edition sheet inset, a letter from the Governor-General as the Foreword and comprehensive coverage of the topic of each stamp set including numerous high quality pictures.

High grade achival art paper has been used.

Face value of the mint stamps is $29.05 with an equivalent face value for the First Day Covers. This is a total Face Value of almost $60 while the actual calalogue value of the items totals $NZ135 (ACS Catalogue 2019) and this doesn’t take into account the value of the high quality limited edition book itself nor its scarcity.

I do try and ensure that the items I sell are competitive and will almost certainly be cheaper than you will find elsewhere.

 I will combine postage when more than one item is purchased at the same time (and as a special offer I will give 10% off the price of the total order - excluding postage costs - if 10 or more items are purchased at the same time)

This is a great way to save on postage by purchasing several items at one time.
Postage costs will only be increased if the extra purchases push the weight limit into another Australia Post postage category.

Due to the size and weight of the item (over 1kg) the cost of postage is considerable and probably prohibitive for overseas purchases. I have given the actual cost of postage to Europe and the UK in my postage charges for international purchases but will reduce that in the invoice if purchasing from a lower cost area e.g. New Zealand postage will be around $A30. I will only charge the actual postage cost for any international purchase.

For local purchases I will accept local pick-up (Melbourne, Australia).

International postage can be quite slow (Australia Post estimates up to 8 days but I have known delays of up to a couple of months)

I cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit but if you receive an item that is not as described you can return it for a full refund (excluding return postage costs).
