NEW, OLD STOCK STARTER BRUSH SET FOR LUCAS M45E UNITS. D43 / 270005. REMAX CB133

Late 1920s / early 30s new, old stock starter motor brush set for M45E Lucas starters. Lucas part no:  D43 / 270005.  This set made by Remax, their equivalent no. CB133. Condition is good but with some surface oxidisation on the copper brushes.

Unlike some later M45G motors that use the 255659 set, you get all 4 brushes. Two for the field coils and two earth brushes.

Brush dimensions are:  0.753 x 0.345 inch cross-section,  0.5 inch length.     lead length:  2.25 inch earth brushes,  3.5 inch insulated brushes.

Please use these dimensions in addition to confirming the  E  after the M45 on your motor's casing to ensure these are the brushes you need. ( Actually these could be adapted for use on some other M45 starters since often the only difference is the earth tag arrangement.)
