Seller's Description
2 inch approx. housing diameter. An after-market replacement for the Smiths type standard fitment. Without any part no. on the box I cannot cross-reference it to Smiths numbers. I do recall the Jaguar XK150 used an 80 deg. C (opening temp.) on some model variants and no doubt other makes / models used this thermostat too.
It has had a poor shelf life, the brass is tarnished and the box is dishevelled .... but it is new, old stock. My kitchen thermometer isn't finely calibrated so I can only attest to the fact that it opens close to 80 degrees.
Original bellows type thermostats are getting hard to find.
