New Look 6238 sewing pattern "Kids!" by Simplicity Patterns. This 2002 vintage sewing pattern will make a children's girl's dress, jacket & purse in girl's sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. Most of the pattern is untrimmed (rough cut out) and a few pieces are cut to the largest size, size 7. Thus the pattern is still usable on all 6 sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. New Look 6238

New Look pattern 6238 for girls sleeveless dresses, with a back Zipper, with or without an overlay. View B has skirt ruffle. View C has upper, middle and lower skirt. A long or short jacket with ruffles at the wrists, and a matching bag or small purse in sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

SUGGESTED FABRICS
Eyelet, Crocheted Lace, Sandwashed Silk, Sueded Silks/Rayons, Silk Linen, Shantung, Handkerchief Linen. D, E also in and B Ruffle and C Bodice Overlay and Upper and Middle Skirts only in, Chiffon, Novelty Sheer Fabrics. Not suitable for sleepwear. Allow extra fabric for matching plaids or stripes.

REQUIREMENTS
Thread. A, B, C: one 14" zipper, hook and eye. A: 3/8 yd. of 5/8" to 1-1/4" wide novelty ribbon, I pkg. of Wrights® hem tape (opt.). B: 1-3/4 yd. of middy braid. C: 1 yd. of 5/8" to 1-1/4" wide novelty braid or flat lace. D, E: 1-1/4 yd of 3/4" wide double fold bias tape. F: 1/2 yd. of 5/8" to 1-1/4" wide novelty ribbon (opt.)
