Seller's Description

An early 1950's release by the R&B pop artist, Eileen Barton, with Dixieland Band accompaniment, on the National label. National Records was a record label that was started in New York by Albert Green in 1945 and lasted till sometime in 1950. Eileen recorded for National records in 1949, and was part of the R & B pop scene from the late 40s into the 50s, without ever really hitting the big time. Best known for her "If I Knew You Were Coming I'da Baked A Cake".

Offered here is a mostly clean and very decent sounding pair of pop vocals. Well played with some light scratches and scuffs showing but background noise is tollerable. No chips, skips, or cracks.

Side 557 presents "Honey, Won't You Honeymoon With Me", and side 570 offers, "Dixieland Ball".

Do you ship to the UK? I own the 45 of this already, but I've always thought the 78s sounded better. Thanks

Yes, I ship worldwide, but only by priority mail due to the fragile nature of these 78's
