Original 10 inch x 8 inch Still for the 1962 Lewis Milestone Adventure MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY, based on the novel by Charles Nordhoff & James Norman Hall and starring Marlon Brando, Trevor Howard, Richard Harris, Hugh Griffith, Richard Haydn, Tarita, Percy Herbert, Gordon Jackson, Noel Purcell, Chips Rafferty, Eddie Byrne, Frank Silvera and Torin Thatcher.
In 1787, British ship Bounty leaves Portsmouth to bring a cargo of bread-fruit from Tahiti but the savage on-board conditions imposed by Captain Bligh trigger a mutiny led by officer Fletcher Christian.
The still is in very good condition.
