Original 1878 7 1/2 inch x 9 1/8 inch engraving titled MUSIC HATH CHARMS
Engraved by Thomas Sherratt (1812 - 1880 after). Engraver.
From the painting by George Adolphus Storey (1834 - 1919). Storey worked in North London, establishing a reputation as a genre and portrait painter, and also as an illustrator, with quite elegant pictures of middle class people drawn for love stories and similar.
