Mob Rule (also known as Constructor: Street Wars and Street Wars: Constructor Underworld in Europe) is a real-time strategy video game for Microsoft Windows released in 1999 by Simon & Schuster and 3Studio. It is the successor to the 1997 video game Constructor. The goal of the game is to construct buildings and fight enemy teams in a Mafia-themed background.

It's 1930s America and organized crime is at its apex. As the new kid on the block you're looking for some action and a piece of the pie. Play your cards right and you'll move up the ladder of success. Screw up and you'll be taking a dive underwater with some cement boots as company! Welcome to the evil empire of Mob Rule. You'll start out your evil conquest for an empire in a soup kitchen, where you can get to training workers and raising families. You'll slowly start to form the circle of power that will bring you to the top. Buildings, owned by you, will start popping up all over the place. Strip clubs, porn shops, breweries, cement factories and stores. Each of these buildings will also require a tenant to run it and you have a choice of ten, unique people to do the job. Soon your workers will have to become bigger than just handymen though. Gangsters, repairmen and "thugs" are all needed to fulfill the grand dream that you envision. It'll be a block-by-block process of building up reserves and setting the foundation for what you want to achieve. Although, don't think it will be all wine and roses for long! You'll have to deal with problems and "undesirables" that will cause major shakedowns in your empire. Angry tenants, bar ghosts, hoodlums, rival gangs and the police are just some of the potential distractions that could slow your progress. You'll also have to grease the right palms and bribe the police when necessary, as having friends in high places can be a key to victory. Soon enough, you'll have to make your presence known and make a few "hits" on certain people that aren't playing your game. You have to show that your group of "thugs" and gangsters isn't going to be trifled with in any way. Bombings, gang attacks and setting fires are just some of the evil tactics you can use to stop the opposition from gaining any headway. Some cities and territories will be easier to conquer than others. You will have to realize this fact as you slowly move up in the ranks of evil empires. While you may start out in the comatose Hickstown and enjoy an easy ride, you'll soon be competing with the big boys in Dead Dog's Ditch or the bright lights of Capital City. Those places are where the real action and challenge await you. Only with the right resources, connections and street smarts will you succeed in this dog-eat-dog underworld.
