Original vintage architectural trade magazine ad for MISSISSIPPI WIRE GLASS COMPANY of New York City, NY. Quote from a letter from Mr. George Rueckoldt of Staudte and Rueckoldt Manufacturing Company of St Louis, MO describes a condition in his factory after a fire in the lumber yard 10 feet away. Wire Glass made it possible to start manufacturing the morning after the fire. Wire Glass is the only protection for window openings thru which fire may enter a building. Old 1911 building construction industry advertisement.
