Seller's Description
A used pewter lidded miniature Bavarian stoneware beer stein mug from Germany. It has a gray background glaze. The front of the beer mug reads 'Gott mit Dir Du Land Der Bahern' (God be with you, land of the Bavarians) from the Hymn of Bavaria. The front has the Bavarian state crest. The lid is flat and undecorated.
The underside of the pewter lid has a sticker that reads '95% Zinn' so its 95% pewter. The manufacturer hallmark is absent. The bottom is not stamped.
The beer stein weighs 6 ounces. It is approximately 3 inches tall x 2 inches wide at the base x 1.55 inches wide at the rim. The mug has no chips, cracks, crazing, or repair. The stein is in excellent condition.
A great item for breweriana collectors.
