Seller's Description
Original 14 3/4 inch x 11 inch Portrait of SIR MICHAEL BALCON Director and Head of Production at Ealing Film Studios from 1937 to 1959.
The portrait is by Ealing Studios’ still photographer Jack Dooley and is signed in the bottom border by him with his official stamp on the reverse. Jack Dooley first entered the film industry as stills photographic assistant at the Stoll Studios, Kew Bridge, London in 1919.
The portrait, on matte paper, is in good condition with a horizontal crease 4 inches from the bottom and slight browning.
