Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1979 Ronald Neame Sci-Fi Thriller METEOR starring Sean Connery, Natalie Wood, Karl Malden, Brian Keith, Martin Landau, Trevor Howard, Richard Dysart and Henry Fonda.
The U.S. must join forces with the U.S.S.R. in order to destroy a gigantic asteroid heading straight for Earth.
Poster art by Tom Beauvais. Beauvais was born in 1932 in Belsize Park, North London. After an engineering course at Kingston Technical School he worked as an apprentice at Bateman Artists which was part of the Allardyce Palmer advertising agency. After the war the agency moved to Screen House in Wardour Street, Soho and Beauvais found himself working alongside Tom Chantrell. In 1975 Beauvais formed his own agency Chapman Beauvais Ltd with Allardyce’s studio mangaer John Chapman. He retired from the agency in 1992.
The poster is in very good folded condition.
