This paperback kicks off with a great Dave Cockrum painted cover!
"Second Genesis!" is a whopping 109 pages by Len Wein, with Pencils and Inks by Dave Cockrum and Letters by John Costanza that is reprinted from Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975)!! This is the story that introduced "The New X-Men" to the world!!
"Psi War!" is 48 pages by Chris Claremont, John Byrne , who did both Pencils and Inks, and Terry Austin, who did the Letters opens as The X-Men, adrift on the ocean, are picked up by a Japanese ship. Xavier recounts an early adventure where he first met Storm as a thief in Cairo and did battle with the Shadow King! The Characters Professor X (Origin); Cyclops; Phoenix (Jean Grey); Storm; Wolverine; Colossus; Banshee; Nightcrawler; Moira MacTaggert; Lilandra; Misty Knight all make an apperance here and we meet the Villain Shadow King [Amahl Farouk] in his very first appearance! This story was reprinted from The X-Men #117 (January 1979)!

THE UNCANNY X-MEN, Tor Publishing, 1990! Written by Chris Claremont and Illustrated by John Byrne and Tony De Zuniga! ISBN: 0812510216, Tor 51021-6. These classic Stories were originally published in X-MEN #110, 123 and 124!! SPIDER-MAN, Aracade and more are in these always-sought-after issues where John Byrne was at his absolute best! Please note that there is a tear at the bottom of the spine and some edge wear on this book...everything else is perfect, but I'd fairly ccall this VG/FN just due to the tear.
