Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1970 Francesco Rosi Military Thriller MANY WARS AGO (UOMINI CONTRO) starring Mark Frechette, Alain Cuny, Gian Maria Volonte, Giampiero Albertini and Pier Paolo Capponi.
On the Italian/Austrian front during World War I, a disastrous Italian attack upon the Austrian positions leads to a mutiny among the Italian troops.
Poster art by Rene Ferracci (1927 -1982). A French artistic director and poster designer. He is, with Clément Hurel, Boris Grinsson, Michel Landi and Jean Mascii, one of the most prolific creators of cinema posters in France in the second half of the 20th century.
The poster is in fine folded condition.
