Seller's Description

Original U.S. 18 inch x 12 inch Trade Advertisement for the 1935 Edward Ludwig Drama THE MAN WHO RECLAIMED HIS HEAD, based on the play by Jean Bart and starring Claude Rains, Joan Bennett, Lionel Atwill, Baby Jane, Henry O'Neill, Henry Armetta, Lloyd Hughes, Bessie Barriscale and Carol Coombe.

Rains is a highly principled writer exploited by a less than scrupulous politician and his cronies who subvert the meaning of his words, meant for peace, into profitable troublemaking. Rains, of course, plans a suitable way of avengin g his honour.

The Ad Art is by movie art specialist Kulz.

The Advertisement is from the Universal Weekly of 1934/5 with two pages joined together at the back with conservation tape. Otherwise the Advertisement is in very good condition.
