Original 9 1/4 inch x 7 1/4 inch Portrait of DAVID HUTCHESON in the 1949 Charles Bennett Romance MADNESS OF THE HEART.

Text on reverse: DAVID HUTCHESON excels in studies of charming men-about-town. In MADNESS OF THE HEART he plays Max Ffoliott, a cheerful but penniless artist.
MADNESS OF THE HEART starring MARGARET LOCKWOOD with PAUL DUPUIS, KATHLEEN BYRON, MAXWELL REED and THORA HIRD is a Two Cities screen version of Flora Sandstrom’s suvvessful novel. It is produced by Richard Wainwright and directed by Charles Bennett who also wrote the screenplay.

Portrait by George Cannons. Cannons entered the film industry in 1922, raking over the Still Photography Concession with Mack Sennett Comedies in Hollywood. He returned to England in 1933 and opened a studio in Dover Street, London. He re-entered films with Gainsborough in 1941.

The portrait is in very good condition with minor surface marks.
