Original French 23 inch x 31 inch Poster for the 1968 Don Siegel Crime Drama MADIGAN, based on the novel "The Commissioner" by Richard Dougherty and starring Richard Widmark, Henry Fonda, Inger Stevens, Harry Guardino, James Whitmore, Susan Clark, Don Stroud, Sheree North, Warren Stevens and Raymond St. Jacques.

Poster art by Jean Mascii. Mascii was one of the most prolific French film poster artists of the second half of the 20th century creating over 2,000. He was born in Italy in 1926 his family then settled in France in 1932. He began work designing cinema facades and designed his first film poster for La Dame D'Onze Heures starring Paul Meurisse in 1947. He died in Paris in 2003.
