Luke Cage kicks off a great new series, jam packed with Guest-Stars from the Marvel Universe!! These were by Marc McLaurin, Dwayne Turner, Christopher Ivy & Michael Thomas!
The Issues here are:
1 - Apr. 1992 - Cage moves to Chicago in this Premiere Issue--and immediately gets on the wrong side of the local Crime Bosses--and draws the attention of the local Media!
3 - June 1992 - Cage takes out Tombstone--with The Punisher waiting for a piece of him next!!
4 - Looks like The Punisher kills Nitro--and Cage is NOT happy! Tombstone teams up with Hardcore & Kickback to take down the heroes--plus Dakota North makes the scene!
5 - Aug. 1992 - "The Evil & The Cure--Part One!" storyline begins and runs for four issues (all are here)! The Chicago Spectator Newspaper hires Cage for exclusive coverage of Chi-Town's newest Hero--but some old scores have yet to settled and he meets another super-powered man--who knocks Cage around pretty good!
6 - Sept. 1992 - Cage is arrested and in jail--where the Guards are all super-powered too! One "overdoses" and literally melts into slime, and Cage breaks free--where he tracks down two friends now in "The Vault" in Colorado--where they are undergoing the same treatment!!
7 - The Avengers arrive at The Vault--and all hell breaks loose--with Cage dead in the middle!!
8 - Nov. 1992 - "Evil & the Cure--Part Four!" sees Cage taking on The Avengers--as well as all the other Super-Powered folks there at The Vault!!
10 - Jan. 1993 - "Payback!" opens with Cage Fighting The Rhino--and it gets worse from there! Dakota North is almost assassinated by Hardcore, even as The HULK takes on Luke Cage!!
11 - Feb. 1993 - "Ganxters!" finds Cage saving boy from gunfire--that leads to an Assassin named Rapid Fire! Danny Rand, Iron Fist, is trying to reclaim his life after being replaced by an Alien Doppelganger and then by the Super Skrull and finds Heroes For Hire, Inc. has been dissolved in his absence!
12 - Mar. 1993 - Double-Sized Issue, as Iron Fist and Luke Cage meet again--and track down Hardcore--and Cage will not be stopped--no matter who gets in his way--even if it's Iron Fist!!
13 - Apr. 1993 - "Sudden Burning!" finds a League of Assassins determined to make Cage their next Assassin!
14 - May 1993 - Cage & Dakota North unite to track down a man known as "The Agent", who's real name is Rick Mason! Two of Cage's friends are now known as Coldfire and another--but he then finds they altered his Father, as well!!
20 - Nov. 1993 - "Aggravated Suicide!" sees Cage controlled by a Demon--and forced to take on The Fantastic Four in an all-out Battle!!
