cel07   Antique 6" x 4" management publicity photo which is a postcard style circa 1950s origin for Luis Romero who was the Spanish and European Champion in 1949 to 1951 - As stated it is almost a postcard (plain back) but instead of message area you have the photographers official stamp after taking this photo (see image 2) from Durban South Africa to present to the boxer afterwards. Album notes from the professional boxers collection this came from... "... sitting on a trolley flanked by Zulu Warriors in traditional costumes in Durban South Africa.. Had fought unsuccessfully for the world title in Jo'Burg a month earlier 17.11.51....".  Bar light surface his is outstanding condition (ex minus).

This has come from an antique private collection from a leading boxer of his early items including photos, promotional cards, postcards, flyers, autographs etc - please view his collection and much more boxing memorabilia listed at my store.
