London Blue Topaz -- what you get when you expose an ordinary clear topaz to an electron stream at a nuclear facility. It turns into a really butt ugly color, but when you heat it up a tad, the ugly goes away and you're left with the color of the ocean off the Pacific Coast. Just the most awesome blue you ever saw, with just a hint of green to it. I'm just totally in love with them. Color so deep you could go swimming in it. The stone measures 16x12 mm, and weighs in the neighborhood of a huge 13 carats. The mounting is a very pretty, heavy filigree. It's a good, solid mounting; 5 grams, and very sturdy. This ring just "feels" good, and look great! ________________________________________________________________________ BTW, Since we make this from scratch after you order it, we have a lot of flexibility. We can cast this in yellow, white or rose gold, and in any of 10k, 14k, or 18k.
