Seller's Description
A late 1940's recording, and shellac pressing #238. Headquartered in Great Britain this is a "made in England" release.
Nearly half a century after his death, the name of Primo Scala is still remembered by lovers of accordion music and his recordings are still being reissued on compact disc. Yet there was never a person of that name, Primo Scala being one of several pseudonyms of pianist Harry Bidgood.
Offered here is pair of mostly clean and decent sounding banjo & accordion orchestra performances led by Primo Scala with The Keynotes.

Minor scuffs and light scratches with some background hiss are to be expected, though a decent audio remains. No cracks, chips or skips! Side 238-A presents "Underneath The Arches", and side 238-B offers, "Side By Side".
