This is a print of "Little Barefoot" by Berthold Auerbach in 1856. I am not an expert on art technique, but I believe this print was created from an engraving. It is professionally framed and matted under glass. The dimensions of the frame are 17-1/4" x 14-1/4". The dimensions of the artwork are about 9" x 6-1/8". The print is mounted under glass in an ornate silver frame with black and white mats. On the back is a written account of the "Little Barefoot" story on a yellowed paper that appears to have come from a periodical or book.

This is a vintage pre-owned piece of artwork. The frame does show quite a few nicks and scuffs but viewed from a distance, they don't really detract. The glass and print are in very good condition with no visible damage. The lower right and left corners on the back of the frame show some staining as can be seen in the last two photos above. The hanging hardware on the back is strong and intact.
