Seller's Description
Robert Merrill, Roberta Peters, Cesare Valletti, Giorgio Tozzi and others with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Erich Leinsdorf - RCA VICTOR LM 6071 - “Rossini: The Barber of Seville - Abridged”. The records are in excellent to near mint condition except for a small lightly scratched area that causes some light ticks and a couple of medium pops. The hinged-lid box is excellent except for a bit of hinge wear at one end. Comes with a booklet. A 2-LP boxed set.
Maria Callas, Francesco Albanese, Ugo Savarese, Ede Marietti Gandolfo, Ines Marietti, Mariano Caruso and others with the Cetra Chorus and the Radio Italiana Orchestra, Torino conducted by Gabrielle Santini - TURNABOUT/VOX THS 65047/48 - “Verdi: La Traviata”. The records are in near mint condition. The hinged-lid box is excellent. Comes with a Metropolitan Opera House booklet. I don’t think it is original for this set, but does have the Italian lyrics and English translations for this opera. A 2-LP boxed set.
