BLEMISHED - LEFTON – compote - FESTIVAL
This is a REPAIRED BLEMISHED FESTIVAL COMPOTE by the famous LEFTON COMPANY. This is decorated with purple grapes and yellow and green leaves. This is approximately 7 ½ " across bottom and 4 ¼” tall.
Both pieces have the blue and gold Lefton crown used 1956 – 1967 and the number SL2628 and the pedestal has a red with silver Lefton label used 1956 - 1966 on the bottom.
This appears to be in fair (REPAIRED) condition as I can find no chips, cracks, crazing or gold loss. PLEASE NOTE the eye on the bottom of the bowl for the metal rod to slip through has been broken off (see next to last picture). The metal rod has been attached to the bowl so the pedestal can be attached with a nut (see the last picture).
