Natural history expert and popular television personality Robert Wilcot (Ian Carmichael), is Conservative candidate for the provincial town of Earndale in the upcoming by-election and finds himself up against Billingsgate girl Stella Stoker campaigning for the Labour Party.
Photo attributed to Ray Hearne (1948 - 1979). Hearne worked in the film industry as a cinematographer and other roles within the camera and electrical department.
