Original British Set of 8 10 inch by 8 inch Front-of-House Stills (Lobby Cards) for the 1952 John Eldridge Comedy LAXDALE HALL starring Raymond Huntley, Ronald Squire, Sebastian Shaw, Fulton Mackay, Kathleen Ryan, Kynaston Reeves, Jean Colin, Jameson Clark, Prunella Scales and Andrew Keir.
Laxdale Hall is a story of a remote Highlands village where the inhabitants refuse to pay their Road Fund License as the only road to the village is in a very poor state of repair. It was filmed around the Applecross peninsula.
Front-of-House Sets are sets of (normally) 8 10 inch x 8 inch Stills of scenes from the film, which were originally shown in display cases outside cinemas.
The set is in very good condition. 3 of the stills have minor soiling, 1 of which also has a half inch nick in the top edge.
