Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1976 Elia Kazan Drama THE LAST TYCOON, based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald and starring Robert De Niro, Robert Mitchum, Tony Curtis, Jeanne Moreau, Jack Nicholson, Theresa Russell, Ingrid Boulting, Donald Pleasence, Ray Milland, Dana Andrews and John Carradine.
F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel is brought to life in this story of a movie producer slowly working himself to death.
Poster art by Michel Landi (born 1932). Landi, born in Fontainebleau, is a French poster designer and artist. He created nearly 1,500 movie posters and is, with René Ferracci, Boris Grinsson, Clément Hurel and Jean Mascii, one of the most prolific creators of movie posters in France in the second half of the 20th century.
The poster is in very good folded condition with a tiny hole and minor wear around the central cross fold.
