Original 1841 9 1/4 inch x 6 1/2 inch stipple and etching of THE LADY VIVIAN & CHILD
Lady Vivian and her daughter seated on a chaise longue with open book.
Engraved by W. Joseph Edwards (1843 - 1864; fl). London line, stipple and mezzotint portrait engraver.
From the painting by Fanny Corbaux (1812 - 1883). Marie Françoise Catherine Doetger "Fanny" Corbaux was a British painter and biblical commentator. She was also the inventor of kalsomine, whitewash with added zinc oxide.
Published in London for the proprietor by Longman & Co., Paternoster Row, October 1 1841 / Lea & Blanchard, Philadelphia
