Seller's Description
King Records was a United States based record label, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, started in 1943 by Syd Nathan, specializing in country music, at the time still known as "Hillbilly music". King advertised "If it's a King, It's a Hillbilly -- If it's a Hillbilly, it's a King".
This mid 1940's recording is in fabulous shape, with a high gloss and showing no cracks, chips, or skips. Very faint scuff and scratch marks leave an excellent sound on both sides!
Side K8607 presents "My Boy - Flat Top", and side K8608 offers, "I Get So Happy". Both are performed by The Gayles family singers.
