Text from the free encyclopedia WIKIPEDIA may appear below to give a little background information:
*************
Kersey is a village in Suffolk, in the east of England. The main street has a ford across a stream. Its principal claim to fame is that a coarse woollen cloth called Kersey cloth takes its name from it. The cloth was presumably originally made there, but later in many other places too.
It has a church called Saint marys at the top of the hill, along with Kersey primary school.
The primary school is a small victorian building with 3 class rooms. It runs from reception to year 6 (4-11 years).
