This is a 3 inch replica of a brilliant uncirculated, proof-like 1964 Kennedy half dollar. This is a much higher quality than the plastic ones you may see advertised from time to time. Here is an oversize vintage novelty coin that is a replica of a 1964 silver half dollar, featuring John F. Kennedy in profile on the "heads" side and a Presidential Eagle on the "tails" side. This coin measures a gigantic 3 inches diameter in comparison to the real deal. Coin is slightly less than 1/4th inch thick, and is made of a silver metal (but not actual silver). This is a vintage item, and is in EXCELLENT vintage condition. Just some slight hairline surface scratches that make it feel even more like an authentic coin.

The half dollar, sometimes referred to as the half for short or 50-cent piece, is a United States coin worth 50 cents, or one half of a dollar. It is the largest United States circulating coin currently produced in both size and weight, being 1.205 inches in diameter and 0.085 in in thickness, and is twice the weight of the quarter. The coin's design has undergone a number of changes throughout its history. Since 1964, the half dollar depicts the profile of President John F. Kennedy on the obverse and the Seal of the President of the United States on the reverse.
