Seller's Description

Original wartime vintage ad for KELLOGG SWITCHBOARD SUPPLY COMPANY. Throat Microphones in WW2 used for noise free voice transmission. Greater certainty that a flier's message will get through to his base is provided by the pair of tiny, compact mikes that fit snugly against the throat. Words are transmitted directly from the vocal cord, ungarbled by roar of engines and guns or other outside noises,. Other products include telephone and radio earphones, hand, palm and throat mics, jack and control boxes, plugs, sockets, capacitors and other components for communication equipment. Also complete telephone systems, telephone and telegraph sets and many other related products for other branches of the Armed Forces. Main office located at 6650 South Cicero Avenue, Chicago, IL. This old 1943 one page industrial trade magazine advertisement would display beautifully matted and framed.
