After their already phenomenal success, this song brought KC & The Sunshine Band to even greater fame after it became part of the soundtrack to the landmark film Saturday Night Fever. "Boogie Shoes" is still cited today as a memorable song of the Disco era. KC bassist/songwriter Richard Finch, who wrote the song with lead singer Harry Wayne Casey, told us: "I never expected that record was going to wind up going on a movie soundtrack.
