Great antique 1ST EDITION fine binding hardback book from 1893 containing bound issues of The Strand Magazine from January to June 1893. Volume 5. 

Includes six chapters of the first ever publication of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes story "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes". 

Contains photos and illustrations throughout. Photos show wear to the cover spine but it does not impact on page binding inside. Photos show the bottom right corners of the first few pages have been torn off but other pages inside are in nice condition especially as the book is 131 years old.
