Overall condition is acceptable. This is the Book Club Edition (BCE) of the first edition of Stephen King's "It" novel. Characteristics of the BCE version is white end papers (genuine first editions use grey), lack of the $22.95 price (which would be printed on the inside front dust jacket flap), and this copy of the BCE version has a gutter code of HB 8 S. What printing that references is not known. The dust jacket, as the scans of the actual covers show, has numerous creases around the edges with clear tape being used on the inside of the dust jacket to shore them up. There are some missing chips in the dust jacket, notably around the corners. The book itself is in decent shape with some fading and the interior pages have some browning on the end papers and slight page discoloration with age.
