Printed monochrome postcard showing a view of the Isola di San Giulio on Lago d'Orta in Italy, seen from the Sacro Monte.
Published by Antonio Fornara, d'Orta, No 3787, printed by Brunner & C, Como.
Postally used on 24 April 1911 with Orta Novarese cancellations on red 10c stamp and sent to Miss Phyllis F. Overall, Rue du Chateau, Croix, Nord, France, then redirected with Croix postmark to Brook Green Girls' College, 45 Aynhoe Road, Brook Green, London W, Angleterre and with single circle receipt postmark for Paddington on the 26th, and also with purple cachet of the Hotel Belvedere, Sacro Monte.
Good condition, with slight corner bumps, but small heavy crease to bottom right corner and some original damage to the stamp.
